2026 IFAC Council- and Related Meetings

in-person, Busan, KR, and via remote participation 23-28 August 2026 held in conjunction with the IFAC World Congress 2026

Report deadlines:

  • TC chairs: Please submit your annual activity report to your Coordinating Committee Chair and the IFAC Secretariat by: 1 March 2026.
  • CC Chairs and ordinary Technical Board members: Please submit your summary report by:
    15 March 2026.
  • Awards, Membership, Activity Fund, Distinguished Lecturer Program, Education Activities and Diversity & Inclusion Committee Chairs: Please submit your annual activity report by:
    15 March 2026.
  • The reports of the CB Chair, TB Chair, PB Chair, VP Operations/Secretary, VP Finances, and IFAC President should be submitted to the IFAC Secretariat by: 31 March 2026.
Reply Form: Please let us know if you can join the 2026 meetings by submitting the following reply form by the end of July at the latest:

Affiliate registration

Dear IFAC friends,
IFAC is happy and proud to see many new registrations as IFAC Affiliate on the affiliates.ifac-control.org portal. Welcome to all of you!
For your information: the validation of the affiliates is done manually to avoid irrelevant registrations (some people mistake IFAC with the federation of accountants) and duplicate profiles. In case your affiliation is in conjunction to the registration to the World Congress in Busan, no worries, the validation time will not affect anyhow your registration to the Congress.
In case you did not notice, the various items in your profile are by default "Private". This means that only IFAC Secretariat can see your information. It is sufficient for doing statistics, but not enough for your profile to be seen and shared among IFAC people. We strongly recommend that you make your name (and other data) as "IFAC public" or even "Web public". We hope you are proud to be part of our IFAC Automatic Control community.

Scammers/spammers purporting to be IFAC officials

Please do not reply to scam/spam emails! An e-mail from Dong-il (Dan) Cho from a gmail account is scam!

Again, the IFAC community is being targeted by scammers/spammers purporting to be IFAC officials. Some of you may have received a "request" for assistance from the IFAC president. He did not send this email, nor is this email any email address that he has.

Please do not engage with these email senders- don't reply to the messages, don't provide information, funds, etc.
